Gnawer got up clutching his club and looking up saw the snarling wolf looking at it and looking over saw the second start to tear through his forces, the clothing on it was Isu and seeing the sword recognised the mark, "James of Elysium, I heard you were coming for me, let me finish what is left of you mind!" he charged but rolling out of the way the wolf clawed at his leg in one strike and scratching the trolls arm was met with a clubbing strike sending him backwards but the wolf charged at him and tackling him back into the tree it grabbing him by the face and threw him into the ground as it started to claw at his back and pushing him away swung desperately swing but this time seeing the wolf leap up and onto his neck he tried to thrash around desperately ripping at his neck and seeing his men start to flee he looked down to see the wolf claw at his chest and looking up to Tormund swinging his club smacked him in the face with it as he fell to his knees and screaming he stopped like he was frozen in his position before the wolf ripped his throat out and he fell to the ground and reaching down it stuck it's hand through his chest to reach and pull out his heart, "Retreat back home now, kill those who chase after us, Artemis cover the retreat!" she nodded firing more shots at the trolls as she saw the wolf look up to the moon and howled with Lagertha's responding and rushing up to each other they looked at each one before turning to see the fleeing trolls chased after them with James' somewhat dragging her away from the humans and those fleeing had no chance, these were big brutish and not made for running so as they ran into the woods they were picked off one by one with no chance of survival unless they could see it out until morning.

It was a nervy wait for the village who heard the cries and screams of the Trolls but Tormund who stared out at the gap through the board spoke, "Still nothing!" "How long until sunrise?"
