Dawn of a nude day

As a naked Buffy Summers watched helplessly, her equally naked mother left the room with Buffy's discarded clothing in her hands.

Buffy looked toward her sister Dawn for sympathy but saw only a smirk on her face. If there Dawn showed any signs of sympathy for her older sibling, Buffy could not see them.

"Oh, well," said Buffy. "I guess you and I might as well go upstairs and study, Will. At least there I can put some clothes on."

"No, you can't," said Dawn with a smile on her face. "Mom and I packed up all your clothes today while you were gone and then we took them to Goodwill."

"Goodwill?" asked Buffy.

"Yes," said Dawn. "Mom figured you wouldn't need them anymore so we boxed them up and hauled them to Goodwill."

"And she didn't spare any of my clothes?" asked Buffy.

"She let you have your shoes," said Dawn. "Also your gloves. Plus she said I could lend you all the scrunchies you could want."

"Gee, thanks a lot, Dawn," said Buffy. "Any more bad news you care to share?"

"She had your friend Riley install a security camera in your bedroom just in case Faith tried to break in," said Dawn.

"Why would Faith want to break into my bedroom?" asked Buffy.

"Who knows?" asked Dawn. "Perhaps she might want to steal one of your scrunchies."

"Very funny, Dawn," said Buffy. "Any chance I might borrow some of your clothes?"

"Perhaps," said Dawn. "But you might be better off asking Mom if you can borrow clothes from her. She said you can do so for school if you need to. At least this week you could."

"No, thanks," said Buffy. "Being beholden to Mom is what got me in this situation to begin with. Surely there are some clothes you can spare for me, Dawn. Right?"

"Maybe," said Dawn.

She hurriedly ran upstairs and then returned fifteen minutes later.

"Here," said Dawn, dumping a pile of clothes on the floor in front of Buffy. "Knock yourself out."

Buffy glanced down at the pile and saw two white cotton socks, a training bra and a pair of underpants with Ariel the Mermaid on it.

"Seriously?" asked Buffy.

"Take it or leave it," said Dawn.

"Frankly, I'd rather go naked," said Buffy.

Meanwhile, the woman whom Buffy and Dawn knew as Joyce Summers watched the whole scene between Buffy and Dawn from the top of the stairs and smiled.

"Be careful what you wish for, B," said the woman.
