There's something about Xander

"Buffy!" exclaimed Willow. "Have you been encouraging Xander to have a crush on you?"

"Of course not," said Buffy. "He's had a crush on me since day one though he tries like heck to hide it. Anyway, why do you care? I thought you moved on from Xander a long time ago. Especially since you got involved with Tara."

"Well, yes, but Xander is still my friend," said Willow. "Plus I still remember that time at the Bronze three years ago when you deliberately danced with him in front of me and teased him shameless --"

"Whoa!" said Joyce in a voice that made her sound like a young college student. "When did all this happen?"

"Er, a long time ago," said Buffy. "When I was possessed by the Master. But that doesn't matter right now."

"Oh, yes, it does," said Willow. "How do you know you haven't been teasing Xander like that again?"

"Because you know me, Willow," said Buffy. "You're my best friend. I would never do anything like that to you. Besides, I'm not even interested in Xander. And I definitely would never again dance for him the way I did at the Bronze."

"Not even when you danced for him at that seedy club?" asked Joyce.
