As Jane stood while the mother and daughter ahead of her ordered their drinks she looked over at the TV and saw a news report about a UN meeting that was going nowhere and one group was threating another with sanctions and so on.

And the mother and daughter stepped aside Jane kept watching for an extra second before stepping forward.

“Yeah, the problem with government is there are too many selfish evil witches and not enough benevolent queens,” the clerk looked at the TV before turning back to Jane, “What can I get for you miss?”

“You know you are right,” Jane said, “Large latte, non-fat.”

As Jane reached in her purse for her money she spotted her phone and smiled…

Jane paid and played with her phone.

The world is run by a good empress dedicated to making the world a better place for all people and under her are feudal ladies of only the highest character and no corruption anywhere in government.

Jane hit enter and waited for the change.

“Your change miss,” the clerk said handing Jane a few coins.

Jane noticed the coins were different, on one side was a woman called the Tsarina, and on the other was a Queen. Looking back at the TV, the image had changed, it was the Queen from the back of the coin meeting with another woman called the Queen of Japan and they smiled as they talked calmly about a problem. A picture was snapped as the Queen of Japan called for a stenographer and an agreement was made right there on TV.

Jane went to look at a new paper while she waited for her coffee and smiled seeing the news that the daughter of a Baroness was being publicly spanked for attempting to miss use government funds.
