Amy and Kennedy's Not So Excellent Adventure Part 3

The first thing that Amy noticed when she left the portal was that the pile of clothes Kennedy had thrown in ahead of them turned out to be a great way to cushion her from an otherwise harsh landing on the hard cement floor of the basement of Sunnydale High School.

The second thing she noticed was that she had apparently forgotten to tell Kennedy to not jump in so soon after she did, which explained why a naked Kennedy fell right on top of Amy just a few minutes after she herself had landed.

"Thanks for breaking my fall, Amy," said Kennedy.

"Er, my pleasure, Kennedy," said Amy. "So can you please get off me now?"

"Sure you don't want me to stay on?" asked Kennedy. "After all, this is one of the few times I've ever been with a naked girl when I get to be the one on top."

"Very funny, Kennedy," said Amy, as she pushed Kennedy off her naked body and reached for her clothes. "As much as I would like to indulge your sense of humor, we still have a job to do."

As long as Amy had a chance to stand up, she said some words in Latin and made some gestures in the direction of the portal. Almost immediately, the portal vanished into thin air.

"Hey!" said Kennedy. "How are we going to get back?"

"I'll make another portal when that time comes," said Amy. "Right now I'm trying to prevent anything else from falling on us."

"Sure you don't want to take a few minutes to fool around?" asked Kennedy. "I won't tell if you don't tell."

"No, thanks, Kennedy," said Amy. "I'm not interested. And didn't you call me a skank when you and Willow first saw me tonight?"

"Oh, we weren't talking about you," said Kennedy. "We were talking about another skank. Er -- I mean, we were talking about the version of Amy that lived in our world. She used to be nice like you but towards the end, she wasn't. She caused Willow and me all kinds of trouble. I'm sorry we confused you with her but at the time --"

"Skip it," said Amy. "It sounds like a long story and we don't have time for long stories. Just hurry up and put your clothes on so we can get out of here."

"That's what she -- er, that's the type of thing Willow says," said Kennedy.

"So?" asked Amy.

"Just saying," said Kennedy.

Amy hurriedly put on her underpants and her bra, wishing she had a mirror so that she could check her hair and makeup. She started to pull on her trousers and then noticed that Kennedy wasn't making the slightest effort to get dressed.

"What's the matter?" asked Amy. "You suddenly fell in love with the idea of nudism?"

"No," said Kennedy, making no move to cover up her bare breasts and pubes. "But I can't help but sense something. I could have sworn that this basement was deserted when I first fell on top of you but now I'm not so sure."

"Well, we need to leave, anyway, so you might as well start getting dressed," said Amy. "We can't complete our mission if we attract too much attention and it's hard not to attract too much attention when you're standing around undressed within full view of a crowd of high school students."

"Think there'd be any girls in that crowd of high school students?" asked Kennedy.

"Kennedy!" exclaimed Amy.

"Okay, okay," said Kennedy. "You're no fun. It's just as well there's nobody here like you said. Your disposition would scare them away for sure."

"Just get dressed, Kennedy," said Amy. "And stop playing the drama queen. It's not like you have an audience."

"That's what you think," said a voice from the other end of the basement.
