Athena meets him

"No and I don't know when I will be back so enjoy the night with Hermes!" she nodded hugging me before saying, "Just stay safe that's all that I ask!" I nodded before grabbing the basket spoke, "Make sure you ask him tonight. You aren't no fall back option for Hermes because Persephone doesn't want him!" she nodded before walking out I headed to the agreed spot, it was calm and secluded good for the peace and prevented anyone else from spying on us and waiting I sat down to lay the spread out, I just hoped she turned up.

A hour passed and waiting less patiently then before my head turned every time I heard the branches move or snap and when I heard the branches move again I smiled to see Athena appear holding two bottles of wine and joining me I smiled hugging her I spoke, "I wasn't sure you were coming!" "I keep a promise as you do evidently, where did you get all this?" "I have some friends who would help prepare anything for a few luxuries" I spoke leaning back against the pillows with her who nervously giggled, "This is the first time I have done such a thing, no one bothers to go near me because of what I am!" "I have..." and picking up a bunch of grapes she smiled pouring us some wine, "What did your mother say?" "Nothing, I was instead telling her to not let Hermes use her and to ask about them!" "She loves Hermes?" I nodded before saying, "Yes, he helped raise me and always made sure she was comfortable and from there their relationship has blossomed, he is even taking her to the festival to Persephone's annoyance!" "Do you reckon he cares for her?" "I think so, after what happened last time with Persephone; I believe he has moved on!" "I heard Aphrodite asked you to be her partner for the Festival" "Yes and I said no, I assume she has been asking around on who I was taking!" "Of course; you know her, however I enjoy teasing my sister." I nodded before starting to show her the view we watched the light start to die down to it's dark smokey and cloudy darkness that occurred from the daily blow back from Hades' realm and laying down next to me my hand fell into hers and we were completely unaware of the two women watching on. "So that is who he blew me off for!" Persephone spoke and seeing Aphrodite angrily snarl at her rejection Persephone ordered, "Back off! Leave them alone!" "But Persephone!" "No...Leave them to it, you have had enough men to ruin; leave the lovers bond!" "Persephone!" "Ares' is yours, Hades' mine and A-then-a is his, now respect it!"
