Use a connection

As Nathan and Ed discuss option Alex looks around spotting Terra up on on of the side balconies chatting up a freshmen. Unmistakable from her almost neon purple hair and the ratty cloths, the tomboy stands compared to most of the crowd.

“TERRA! TERRA!” Alex waves his arms trying to get the girl’s attention. Finishing up a good laugh the words seem to nearly reach her ears as she glances down spotting Alex making a fool of himself. Terra waves back, catching a glimpse of the line outside she quickly puts two and two together and gives him a thumbs up before disappearing into the house.

“Who’s the dike?” Nathan scoffs

“That’s Terra and shes our ticket in. Ms Purplehair owes me, big time” Alex used to remember fondly the beach trip where Terra introduced him to Rena, but now it just stung at his heart as a reminder of what he lost.

Terra shows up at the front of the house a few moments later, waving the boys up she helps them get past the bouncers and directly into the party.

“They there Alex my dood” Terra Greer’s him with a warm hug. “How are you holding up?” She glances over at Ed and Nathan with a bit of a scowl “you ass-holes taking care my boy here?”

“You can put away the fangs Terra, they have been really cool the past few days. Nathan has introduced me to far to many girls and Ed here paid god knows how much for my drinks on Friday to drown out my sorrows” the praise along with a light chuckle seems to put Terra at ease.

“Well shit, sorry I missed that, let’s see if we can go for a weekend record huh?!” She punches him in the arm and laughs. “Welcome and enjoy the party!” Opening the front door they walk in to the booming sound of base and the tell-tell stench of ****.
