You throw yourself through a window, smashing it. It happens slowly, the air literally like invisible mud, and so you have prolonged exposure to shattering glass. Lose 1 Vitals point from all the cuts.
From outside as you start running, you hear Elia calling you coward while probably launching her ill-fated attack with the fork. It can’t have gone well; you hear an angry screech from the demon, and a terrified scream from the girl, followed by a thus.
The next thing you know, after a few seconds of temperature going down, your limbs getting lighter and the air thinning, you are thrown to the ground by an unseen ****. The red lights reappear around you as you lie on your back. The demon now stands over you, lips pulled back, fangs at the ready. A drop of liquid falls on your face and you notice three black spots dripping black blood on the creature’s upper chest. She must have punctured its skin at least.
Another roaring shriek and the monster sinks its upper canines into the muscle just above your shoulder and beneath the neck. You feel your body change as a burning hot venom is squirted into your veins. Your thoughts muddy as an alien spirit tries to take you over. You pull your will together and try to fight it.
Test your will to live. Roll one die. If you roll anything over 4, turn to 56. If you roll less, turn to 121.
