Keep the clone

Bowser then thought of what to do. "I think it would be safe to keep the clone. If she doesn't have all the original memories then that could be a good thing. Make it easier for me."

"As you wish," Kammy said. "Shall we get to the next phase?"

Bowser then picks up the original Peach over his shoulder. "Of course. Mario could be here soon. I would not be surprised if he's so sick of this routine of ours that he would go straight to warping here. Watch over the clone and tell me what she does when she wakes up."

"Of course, sir."

Bowser then left the dungeon with the sleeping princess.

Sometime later, Mario did invade the castle and Bowser fought back while acting like he was wanting to keep Peach this time. He didn't want Mario or anyone else getting suspicious of what he did.

Back in the dungeon, Kammy Koopa could hear the fighting outside hoping Mario doesn't rough him up too much this time. She then saw the clone of Peach waking up. "Morning, Princess." She watched to see the clone Peach's reaction to see if she did get all the memories of the original.
