Black Widow - Agent Lost

Black Widow saw the call on her comm. Priority 1. Agent missing. High alert. Rushing to the rendezvous site, she boarded the transport back to the Hellicarrier, heading to the briefing room as quickly as possible.

Hurrying into the meeting room, her hips sway as she walks. "So, who are we missing?" Natasha asks as she opens the door, looking around as she steps inside.

The room is noticeably empty as she enters, except for Colonel Nick Fury, who paces like a trapped puma. "The rest of the Avengers are all out on other assignments. I wasn't even sure if you’d made it back yet." He says with a scowl. "Agent Hill is missing. She was due back three days ago and hasn't reported in."

Natasha leans closer to look at the glowing holographic map being displayed in the center of the conference table. "What’s her last known location? Do we have any idea of what type of trouble she may have gotten into?"

Fury sighs, rubbing his eye. "She was looking into a new villain on the scene, calls himself the Rapture. We don't know much about him, except he’s been operating a little outside Hell's Kitchen, just far enough to avoid Daredevil's attention. So far, all his victims have been women, so Maria volunteered to look into it."

“Rapture, huh? Interesting name, sounds like fun." Natasha smiles slightly.

"I'll get her back, Nick." She says. "And bring this guy in the process." She adds absently before turning to leave.

"Natasha? Be careful." Colonel Fury warns. "Maria Hill is a good agent. She can handle herself. I trained her myself."

Black Widow looks back over her shoulder. "She may be good, but she’s not me." Natasha smiles with a wink before heading out out of the briefing.
