Frenemies?

Drusilla smiled as the naked Slayer hugged her and said," Oh, my, Monsieur Count. I haven't had a welcome like this since the last time I visited the Countess Karnstein."

"Drusilla," said the Count, "I thought I told you you were never to mention that name again in my presence. It's bad enough you still associate with that woman, but to mention her in my presence..."

"Yes, I know," said Drusilla. "Carmilla is a bad influence on me. Fortunately, I hang around with a new gal pal nowadays. And you'll never believe where I found her."

"Wait!" said Willow. "You know the vampire Carmilla on a first-name basis, Drusilla? Better yet, Monsieur Count, you know Drusilla on a first-name basis? And you think Carmilla is a bad influence on her?"

"Actually I'm kinda curious as to how you got here, Drusilla," said Buffy. backing off from her embrace for a moment. "Since when do you time-travel?"

"Hey, just because I'm a vampire doesn't mean I can't do other things," said Drusilla. "Besides, my new friend discovered a way to travel between worlds and you wouldn't believe the things that she and I have seen."

"So why are you here, Drusilla?" asked Amy. "Surely you would be the last person to need the philosopher's stone."

"Hey, who ever said I was here for that?" said Drusilla. "Perhaps I came here because I like the Count's company."

"That's very flattering, Drusilla, but I've met Spike," said the Count. "I know the type of vamps you really go for. So why are you really here?"

"Okay," said Drusilla. "I'm here for a bit of the philosopher's stone. I need it for my new friend's er-- pony."

"A pony?" asked Willow.

The count raised an eyebrow in Drusilla's direction. "Surely you don't expect me to give you a bit of the philosopher's stone for a pony?"

Drusilla smiled. "But this is a special pony, Monsieur Count. And I've always heard how much you love animals. Even the ones in here."

"I would thank you to refrain from insulting my guests, Drusilla," said the Count in an ominous tone. "Especially if you wish to beg favors."

"I'm still a bit surprised that you have not one but two vampire slayers as your guests, Count," said Drusilla. "Whatever would Madeleine think? And Olivia would be especially disappointed if she was still with us."

"If you wish to beg favors from me, you'd best not mention those names," said the Count.

Drusilla shrugged. "Okay. Granted, I'm not surprised to see Buffy is still naked. Anyway, my friend is waiting --"

"Hey!" interrupted Buffy. "What do you mean you're not surprised to see me still naked? What do you know?"

Drusilla just smiled and said, "Can my friend come inside, Monsieur Count? I'm quite sure she'll be more diplomatic than me."

The Count gestured to his manservant Roger, who promptly left the room.

A few minutes later, he returned with a tall, pale-faced brunette dressed in skin-tight black clothing.

"You look familiar," said the Count, "and yet I get the feeling we've never met before. Just who are you?"

"It doesn't really matter who I am," said the woman.

Then she bared her fangs. "Though I suppose if you wish me to give you a name, then okay, I'll give you one. The name's Rosenberg. Willow Rosenberg."
