What type of commander do you want?
Henchman...
No matter what you do or what modifications or mutations you add to any of your Roswellian minions, it just can’t compete with actual real-world experience.
So, it’s time you went out and searched for a henchman. However, as you begin to type up the necessary information and begin to order the ship to bring up a list of possible recruits, you are greeted with the sight of a read error message.
A little bit surprised you read out the message, and it appears that the ship is currently in some kind of specialized pocket dimension. This pocket dimension was designed to be a protective bubble for the ship for when it **** you from the core. So, before you can begin your expedition into the multi-verse for suitable commander for your forces, you need to exit the pocket dimension.
As you do this, you begin to read a little bit more information about the ship and discover a glaring flaw within the teleporter system. That unfortunate flaw is that the transmat is only allowed to teleport up to a maximum of 10 people at a time. Reading into this flaw you discover that the aliens have tried to teleport more people using the system, but whenever they did what came out on the other side wasn't technically be considered living anymore. There are a couple photo’s, but I believe it’s best if I do not explain the horrific images that they contain, just know that the pictures have a lot of red in them and what’s inside is now outside.
With that disturbing revelation out of the way you immediately realize you’re going to need a new form of mass transportation for your army. For a while using the teleporter to transport small specialized teams into the field is still possible, it is now impossible to transport your entire army all at once.
So, as the ship begins to make its way out of the protective bubble that the pocket dimension is comprised of you immediately draw up plans for the necessary modes of transportation and the necessary support staff that your army will need.
So to start off with you immediately bring back up the minion class options and create new career paths for your minions to pick from to fill in the roles of your support staff.
However, to join one of these new career paths, the minions must at least complete three missions out in the field before they can apply for one of these new career paths.
Each of these new paths will have a head which will report directly back to you, these heads will be selected from the current minion batch and will be altered to better suit the new Job paths requirements. Also these heads will meet with you every other week to give a rundown on the current situation of the fleet and of the mother ship.
Scientist: the scientist career path is offered to the minions who joined the support class and no longer wished to be out in the field anymore. The scientists main job is to conduct research, experiment, and create new arms and armor for your troops. It is also possible for the scientists to choose to aid others by becoming a doctor and assist others in the med bay of the ship. To better differentiate the minions that choose to become doctors and those that wish to be normal scientists you given the two paths new outfits to better differentiate each other.
Both paths of this career will be allowed to wear whenever they choose underneath different colored lab coats. Doctors will wear a white lab coat that will have a red cross both on and on the shoulders of the coat. Scientists will wear a blue lab coat that will have a white lab beaker on the back of the coat and on the shoulders of the coat.
Engineer: the engineer career path is offered to both the heavy and the support class. Those that join the engineer path will be tasked with not only maintaining the ship and its fleet of vehicles, but also creating anything that comes out of the science deck of the ship. A part of you might mistake that the engineer path will also be tasked with ensuring the cleanliness of the ship, that’s where you’d be wrong. You see the ship already has a series of drones to ensure the cleanliness and beautiful luster of the ship, so there’s no need for the engineers to get involved outside of ensuring that the drone stays up and running.
Moving on, your engineers will be given specialized hazmat suits to ensure their safety when working within the ship’s forges. These hazmat suits are also airtight and will allow the engineering team to exit the ship and do repairs on the exterior the ship if it becomes damaged. Outside of their hazmat suits, however, the engineering team will be allowed to wear whatever they so choose, with the exception that they all must wear an orange work vest that has a black rent symbol on the back to signify that they work for engineering.
Pilot: the pilot career path is offered to those of the **** class and those of the sniper class. The pilot’s main job is to pilot the many different saucers and aircraft in your armada. This is a path for those who still want to be an active role in your army, but no longer want to be in the direct line of fire.
When on duty pilots will all wear the same spacesuits that they wore before becoming a pilot. However, they will no longer have the class specific upgrades made to their suits. Instead, all pilots will have a specialized recall system installed into their suits that will automatically recall them back to the ship via transmat if the worst were to happen. However, you realize that the situation may arise that will knock out the teleporter, so to supplement the pilot skill set you’ve added a cloak and a light jetpack for the pilot to use in dire emergencies with their primary weapon.
When off duty pilots will be allowed to wear whatever they so choose, with the exception that they all must wear a brown bomber jacket with a green UFO within a circle on the back to signify that they are a pilot.
Farmer: the farmer career path is open to everyone and has the main duty of ensuring that the food supply of the ship is always stable. This career is a simple and easy path for any minion that so desires it. However, farmers are not only tasked with food production, but also food refinement as many farmers are also chef’s and brewmasters.
Farmers are allowed to wear whatever they so choose and are only required to carry a card on them that identifies them as a farmer.
Security: the security path is open to all your minions and asks as your army’s police ****. It is securities job to ensure the safety of both you and the crew of the ship. You have no worries about your minions betraying you for they all have genetically ingrained loyalty to you. However, that’s not to say that the minions will not try to turn on each other in a bid for your attention, so security will also ensure that the minions will be kept on the same page and ensure that they don’t try to kill each other over trying to get your affection.
Security teams will all wear the same outfits that they did back when they were active members of your military, however, the exception will be the coloring of their suits as all members of your security teams will be wearing a color palette consisting of a navy blue primary and a white secondary.
When off duty your security teams will be allowed to wear whatever they want with the exception being that they must carry a badge as a form of identification.
With your new support staff carrer paths made you immediately set about creating the fleet of ships your armada will need in the up coming conquest of the multiverse.
Scout saucer(codename: skipper): the scout saucer is a very small vessel (in the shape of a classic flying saucer) being only about the size of your average minivan, it’s main purpose is to scout out and monitor areas within a world. It comes equipped with a cloaking device that hides it from all forms of detection, a classic **** ray that can burn through practically anything, a specialized tractor beam to pick up and store objects into the ship’s cargo, and an emergency security system that will detonate the craft if used by an unrecognized individual.
The armament on the scout cruiser is light for the sole reason that it is not designed for direct conflict. Instead, it’s designed for speed and maneuverability. For the scout saucer was designed to outrun practically anything in the skies, the maximum speed of the scout craft is that of mock 15 or high hypersonic speed. Of course, this doesn’t come without any detriments as those that fly the scout saucer to this maximum speed can suffer blackouts from the sheer velocity of the craft. You’ve done your best to reduce the amount of G-**** that the pilot would suffer from when piloting this craft, but there’s only so much you can do. You would require an actual mechanic who’s worked on spacecraft before to improve on the design.
As it stands, the scout saucer has only room for one pilot and one passenger that can be stored below into the cargo hold of the ship. Though small the scout saucer will be a vital tool in the journey to prepare the multi-verse for planet fusion’s invasion.
Drop saucer(codename: Cosmonaut): the drop saucer or as you’ve nicknamed it the Cosmonaut is the all-purpose workhorse of your army. Cosmonauts will be designed to carry up to a maximum of 14 people, not counting the pilot, and will be designed to be quick getaway vehicles if the situation arises. Cosmonauts will not be defenseless as they will all carry a payload of missiles and a **** ray. However, due to the general function of the craft and size of the craft ( It being about 45 feet or a school bus in width), the **** ray will be supplemented by two Gatling laser arrays.
One of each will be on at least one side of the craft top or bottom and can be maneuvered around the craft for a full 360° cover fire range. Also installed will be a specialized tractor beam that will allow the drop team to ascend or descend onto the battlefield without the need for ropes. Finally, each cosmonaut will have a personal shield installed to protect the ship from outside damage.
Due to the unfortunate weight of the craft, the ship is not as fast as a skipper, but that does not mean it cannot outrun most of their craft. As a top speed for a cosmonaut is hypersonic or mock ten, a speed that will leave most other aircraft in the dust.
Attack saucer(codename: Star Chaser): you realize with the advent of the drop saucer you’re going to need something to protect it in the field of battle. So enter Star Chaser, your Army’s sword in the sky, a ship that’s designed for one goal in mind to attack and destroy other aircraft and spacecraft. The star chaser is equipped to carry at least two personnel in it, a pilot and co-pilot. As a result, the star chaser is a little bit bigger than a skipper but is still smaller than a drop saucer.
Now on to the arsenal the star chaser will carry with it into the field of battle. The star chaser will come equipped with a **** ray, two Gatling lasers, a payload of missiles, and a special device you like to call a Tesla cannon. The Tesla cannon is a specialized Semi auto lightning cannon that can either take down the ship shielding or disable the craft without harming it. This combined with its speed of mock 12.5 and its shielding makes the star chaser a formidable threat in the sky.
Bomb saucer(codename: Moon Storm): with the advent of the attack saucer you understand that sometimes you're going to need a ship that can deliver pinpoint bombing runs on a target. So, you created the Moon Storm, a Bomb saucer whose main goal is to deliver crippling blows against any enemy space ship or earth bound target. As a result, the moon storm will require a crew of 4 to work effectively. This crew will consist of a pilot, copilot, gunner, and loader/targeter. As a result of this increase of size the bomb saucer will bigger than a star chaser, but still slightly smaller than a cosmonaut.
However, as a result of its main role in the battlefield, a moon storm will come equipped with only a **** ray, for Gatling lasers, and a personal energy shield to protect the ship from oncoming fire. When not dropping bombs the loader will act as a secondary gunner to help provide cover fire for the ship. When dropping bombs, the loader will be able to choose and pick a variety of different Bombs depending on what the mission requires. These explosives can vary from EMP, acidic, fire, ice, or just a plain old classic explosive charge. Each explosive charge has a max blast radius equal to 500 yards and can be decreased depending on what you need.
In time you may expand your fleet so its not just your mothership, but that can only be done once you have obtained a dry dock on a conquered world. With your fleet of aircraft completed you move on to your ground-based vehicles.
Hover jeep: the most basic of your vehicles the hover jeep is perhaps the most utilitarian land vehicle on hand, As the hover jeep can be converted to have amounted turret onto the back or be converted to carry more cargo. However, it’s most used purpose is to carry your minions to and from the battlefield. You purposely designed this craft off of an old B-movie you saw back as a kid, the movie was named planet 51 if you remember correctly. All the vehicles in that world were other vehicles and defy gravity using anti-magnetic fields to allow the vehicles on that world to get from place to place. Anyway, the hover jeep can have either a machine gun, a Tesla cannon, or a gauss cannon attached to the back. These combined with its top speed of 200 mph makes the hover jeep a good all-around fighting vehicle.
Hover tank: another vehicle that you picked up from planet 51 was, of course, its hover tank which was based off the World War II Sherman tank. Of course, this tank is much more advanced with its own personal shielding, energy cannon, and thick alien alloy plating. All of this combined with its ability to hover over any terrain at a top speed of 150 mph and is crewed by a driver, a gunner, and a commander who is in control of the main cannon.
Hover truck: in keeping with the theme of round vehicle shaped like flying saucers, the hover truck is a large vehicle that’s around about the size of two school buses put next to each other in both width and height. This vehicle is mainly designed to transport goods equipment and sometimes people and troops to and fro. Unfortunately, the hover truck is lightly defended with only a small shield and a small auto turret for protection. To counter this downside, most hover trucks will be defended by at least four attack drones to bolster its defense. Hover trucks top speed is that of 175 mph across all forms of terrain.
Crawler: Crawlers are massive war machines that act as both artillery and as heavy tanks. The head of the crawler is in the shape of a saucer and is about the size of three school buses put next to each other, and it is supported by six long metallic tentacles that extend outwards for about 100 yards each. The main armament of the Crawler is its **** ray that shoots out of a massive eye like extrusion and can easily burn through most solid materials and can even burrow through solid rock to create tunnels. The secondary armament of the crawler is its missile pod in the back of the vehicle that can reach any target within view of the motherships systems. Finally, the crawler is equipped with a heavy-duty shield that can protect from everything short of a nuclear warhead.
Thing is though crawlers have been designed to be moddable to fit any situation, such as if you want to convert the **** ray into a transmat ray to instantly transport a hapless victim straight to your ship. Or you could modify the missile pod on the back into containment fields to capture subjects of interest. It all depends on what you truly need at the time and what the mission demands at the time. Finally, the crawlers have a maximum speed of 125 Mph and are crewed by a group of 6 minions.
Hovercar: finally, and this was just for fun, you’ve created a series of hover vehicles that are ripped strait from the planet 51 movie. These cars can be driven by minions off duty and can be owned by a minion that reaches the rank of sergeant or higher. You of course on your own vehicle is based off a red Cadillac Eldorado, and it has a top speed of 350 Mph.
With the vehicles of your armada ready, you check on your minions and see that they have been released from their vats and are currently getting dressed in their standard uniforms. As your army of short stack Roswellian greys get dressed you check and see that your ship is almost free from the pocket dimension and is almost ready to take on the Multiverse at large!
As your ship free's itself from the pocket dimension’s bubble, the only question that remains now is…
