A happy dragon

You reach your castle in the middle of the day. Shade is there to great you "How did it go?" he asks.

"I got the eggs." You say as you take them out of the Yurt.

Shade gently takes them from you "Thank you, I owe you a debt. Dragon's mate for life and as a hermaphrodite I take two mates one as a male and one as a female. These eggs were laid by my female mate who is now dead." he tells you with a hint of sadness and grief. "With your permission, I will stay near your castle until theses eggs are hatted and old enough to leave then I shall find new mates."

"I thought you said you mate for life?" You ask.

"I never found a male mate and we dragons mate for life and my female mate is dead I can attach another ." Shade clarified. He took the eggs away and began to warm them with their body which would get them to hatch. Shade scooped up some of the gold and carried the eggs and gold out of the courtyard "Since I am meant to be dead, I will go find a place to raise my eggs." He explained.

For the rest of the day You, Mirre, Lubra, Meer, Sam and Mary unpacked the wedding gifts and began to make the castle more hospitable. You had been living alone in a tower now you have access to the whole castle.

Eavning came and you finally had time to examine the gift given to you by Price Tomas. The letter read as so:

Dear Cousin Alisa,

I sent the Dragon Stardust to your castle after I heard that you had been claimed. She informed me that The dragon that guarded you is still Alive. I do not dought that the Centaur is worth of your hand so I will not say anything. Since I claimed your Cousin without bloodshed I have received some resistance and outright aggression towards me form more traditional kings. I hope to count you as an ally.
