You split up and your in for a surprise

After a little more discussion you found yourself stepping out of the PokeMart a few potions richer and a little lighter in the wallet. You spare a glance to Green as he exits the mart, one of his new pokeballs in his hand.

"Are you sure you want to split up? We do make a good team."

He gives you a smile before looking back at the ball in his hand.

"Yeah, for right now at least, look it's 12 o'clock now how about we come back to the pokecenter at 3 then we can go from there. Besides.....(blush) I do still want to battle you, and this way we could cover more ground, train our Pokémon, and be a more interesting fight to each other later."

You gently lift his head to to face you with one finger on his chin, you look him in the eye before giving his cheek and light peck.

"you're one of the only people I know I wouldn't mind losing to. But that doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you. And when I win I'm going to make you put on that show we talked about."

The light blush on his face and the tent in his shorts said you were give him some mixed feeling on if he really wanted to win your match. Maybe it was the fact that you had an actual "good" experience with him but you really didn't mind flirting with him. You turned and started heading west of the city making sure to add a little bounce to your step fully aware Green was watching, and if you happened to win your future fight you'd be having him do the same thing later.

It didn't take long once you left the city to find the lake at route 22, sparing a quick glance around, you sighed a little in relief at not seeing any trainers. You had of course run into quite a few wild Pokemon, but with your two non water-locked pokemon you were able to take them down pretty well without much trouble, unfortunately they seemed to have a little too much fight in them for you to be able to catch them and they seemed to be smart enough to understand discretion is the better part of valor and fled.

You look at the clear almost see-through water of the lake as you reach into your belt and pull out the gold plated pokeball your Magikarp was in, it may be tacky looking but it was still a good identifier of who's it belongs to.

"Ok! Sushi come on out!"

After the ball opens and releases its red light into the lake, you were in for a pleasant surprise as your Magikarp appeared to greet you, if you had known this you wouldn't have minded paying full price. Though honestly how did the so called slick ConMan miss this?

"Hi there. Your name is Sushi and I'm your new trainer Amber."

You reach out and pet the three prong fin on the back of the Golden Yellow Magikarp as it smiled happily at the attention. You had heard how some Pokemon had a color change variant to them, it was unpredictable and it didn't really change much other than looks, unlike some variance in other regions but it was still something really cool for any trainer to have what was dubbed a "Shiny" pokemon. You pull out your Pokedex and after looking though the Pokémon with blank entries you found the one you were looking for. You hold up the picture of a Poliwag to show her. Pokedex once they register a Pokémon you've captured quickly scan them and list there gender for you to see, it's a nice little feature it even has a little spot that shows only the Pokémon you have in your 6-count roster thanks to that you knew that though you're Charmander was Male, both Sushi and Queeny (your Weedle) was a Female.

"See this pokemon? There called a Poliwag, can you have a quick look down there and see if there are any down there interested in joining a trainer?"

You couldn't find a fishing pole at the PokeMart so while **** sounding this was really all you could do at the moment.

"Magi karp karp."

It closed its eyes and seemed to smile wider as she sank under the water and disappeared.

"Seriously that's the best a ditz like you could come up with? Ask your mutant shit fish to go and ask nicely? I guess it was my fault in the end. I should've known I was going to knock what few brain cells you had out of your head when I fucked you. I guess I should do the responsible thing and be your pimp."

You quickly stand up straight and glare at Blue walking up the road, you raise an eyebrow at him when you notice he was coming back from the Pokémon league checkpoint.

"You're calling me an idiot? By the look of it I guess you tried to get through the Pokémon league checkpoint without any badges. Any trainer worth their salt would know you couldn't even get through the front door without at least one badge, let alone all eight. Or are you honestly so spoiled you thought name dropping that you were professor Oak's grandson would get you through?

~Oh well so sorry sir, this lowly peasant guard was unaware of your parentage.~ By all means, go right through the elaborate series of checkpoints designed to ensure only the best of the best are allowed to challenge victory Road and then the elite four. Le`gasp you seem to have some dirt on your shoe let me get on my hands and knees and lick it off."~

You could see at his rapidly growing red to purple face that you were hitting the nail on the head with every single point. You could even see his fist shaking at your little impromptu act as you kept your hands together and used them to cradle the side of your face as you acted like a hapless fan-girl. You knew you were playing a dangerous game with him but you were not going to let your last encounter with him diminish you, you were going to become a Pokemon champion dam it! and he wasn't going to intimidate you.

You barely saw him move as a pokeball went flying and out popped a Pidgey already flying as Blue caught it.

"Alright bitch bring out your Chump-mander so my Pidgey can down it in that lake. And after I'm done with that I'm going to collar your worthless ass and put a career ending baby in your gut. But then again you had to have a career first for some crotch biscuit to ruin it."
