Chaos and Order

While our world may seem random, full of meaningless, it is, in fact, ruled by order. The seeming haphazard unfolding of events that occur every day are just patterns far too big for the human mind. Without this order, the world would **** into chaos, something bizarre and terrifying.

Alex's life had begun to touch that chaos, his world skirting on the edge of unreason. He had, so far, been lucky. And luck was what it was. When dealing with chaos of the intensity of the crack in reality, there is no control over what would change, what life would look like, who would be affected.

There was no way, of course, for Alex to know this. All Alex knew was that everything he did, every aspect of his life, was now a lived-out sexual fantasy. But what would happen if he pushed further? What would happen if his life choices **** the crack open even more?
