Lauren loses the jeans

Lauren was caught in the escalator. She had also heard all the stories of people horribly injured or maimed by these contraptions. Above all else she didn't want to become another cautionary tale, so she did the unthinkable... she unbuttoned her fly and kicked off her shoes in preparation to take off her skinny jeans right there in the local shopping mall in full view of countless strangers. Even as she pulled her legs out of the jeans she could hardly believe she was actually doing it. She felt more like she was in a nightmare and she was watching someone who looked remarkably like her deal with this terrible situation without being able to really affect the outcome.

In reality all of this happened in a matter of seconds. Before anyone much had even noticed what was happening, Lauren had her jeans off and was stumbling off the escalator just before she reached the end of it. She turned back to see her cast off jeans being torn and ripped apart as they were pulled down inside the escalator. She wiped her brow in relief. Had she not taken those off she could have been killed.

When the shock of what had happened began to wear off though she stood up and found she had a new problem. She was now in a crowded shopping mall food court wearing nothing but her shirt and her panties. Even the ten dollar bill had gone missing.
