Ring her husband

Feeling lonely Tammy decides to give her husband a call, maybe if he wasn't on the road they could share a steamy conversation. She grabbed her mobile and dialed her husband's number. The phone rang a few times before it was answered.

"Hello"

A female voice answered the phone, why was there a woman on her husband's phone? Scott had done deliveries both taking another person with him to share the driving but everyone in the company Scott worked for was male. Maybe they hired someone new and Scott forgot to tell her.

"Is Scott there?"

"Sorry, he's asleep at the moment, can I take a message for him?"

Scott was asleep, why was there a woman with him when he was asleep? where was he? who was she? what was going on here?

"No it's okay, it's nothing important. I'll try again later."

Tammy hung up, she threw the phone down on the bed. Her mind was racing, who was this woman that was with her husband. Was it work related? was her husband up to something?

She trusted Scott but couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong. According to what Scott had told her he should have been in France by now, the woman didn't sound French, she had no accent. She knew the company Scott worked for was local, maybe she could go and ask them if they knew anything, or she could ring Scott again or just try to forget about it.
