Visit The Tavern

After they had finished we headed to town. Seeing it through Auroras eyes made it feel new again to me. Like the first time I had seen it. One could spend a life time just exploring every street and shop. We stopped by a tailors shop and I gave the girls some coin to look for new clothes. Mostly for Aurora since Felicia had her own money and had bought several outfits of her own. I picked out some pants and some tunics while they where still looking. I headed over to the tavern were Rose was behind the counter.

"Hey there. Want the usual?" Rose smiled.

"Sure."

"You know where almost out." She said as she took the mug to the cask. I remembered carrying them in for Gregor the first day we meet but as busy they had been I guess they had gone through it.

"I might have a line on some more. Someone wants to build a brewery down by Hunters Rest. If they do I could ask them about it."

"That would help." She smiled and broght me my mug.

"I wanted to ask about Felicia working here." I said taking a drink

"Helga is planning to move her to midday just to help with the lunch crowd. That way she can be at your place during the night and dosen't have to sleep here." Rose smiled already knowing what I was going to say.

"That reminds I wanted to say thank you for helping Felicia learn to read but you could have picked a different book."

"Are you saying you didn't learn anything useful from it?" Rose gave a wink.

"I didn't say that." I shook my head.

"I found some interesting things in there myself that I would like to try out." She leaned over the counter toward me.

"I am sure you did." I smiled.

"I was just about to take a break. I could show you if you like." She touched my hand and bit her lip. She seemed a little more aggressive then usual but the attention wasn't unwanted. I wondered if it was her mixed heritage. Elven lust combined with human monthly cycle.
