On to Tasha's

You tell Elaine to follow you and make your way to Tasha's house. It's the kind of run-down place you'd expect a girl like Tasha to come from. You walk up the pathway and ring the bell. Tasha's mother, a solidly built older woman, answers. "Yes?" she says, arms folded.

"I'd like to have a discussion with your daughter" you say.

Tasha's mom turns to the interior of the house, yelling "Tasha, Reader's here to see you!"

There's no response for a bit, then you suddenly hear the back door slam and the sound of a track athlete's feet hitting pavement. "Guess she didn't want to discuss anything with you" Tasha's mom says with a smirk.
