Chapter 5

Does Sister Anne do something about it?
She tries to destroy the Mirror.
Fearing that the mirror might be evil Sister Anne thought it would not just be in her best interest but for the whole convent if she destroyed the mirror. She knew that she must live with a lie in fear that the other sisters would not understand her because they could not see what she saw, but she would pray to her lord in the hope that he would understand her need to do this.
Sister Anne devised a plan to do it late at night by making it look like an accident from being tired. As the day progressed into night, Sister Anne returned to her room after supper. There she prayed to her lord asking him to forgive her for planning to destroying what was not hers and lying about it to her sisters. After her prayer she studied as she waited for the right hour to set her plan into motion.
Nearing 1 A.M. Sister Anne was now ready to go out into the corridor. As she walked down the corridor Sister Anne looked all around to make sure no one else was up or in the corridor as she was. As far as she could tell all was clear when she got to the mirror. Standing off to the side of the mirror, refusing to look directly at it, Sister Anne gave one more look around the corridor. With no one around she gave one mighty pull on the mirror, throwing it off the wall.
At that moment everything felt like it was going in slow motion. In that short moment she saw the mirror hit the floor with such **** that it bounced up a bit before resting flat on the floor. It was then she realized that a shard of glass had flung out with one of the pieces, nicking her in the ankle. In the distance Sister Anne heard running footsteps and quickly sat on the floor to wait for the other sisters to arrive.
When the other sisters got to where Sister Anne was they naturally asked her what had happened and if she was alright when they saw the superficial cut on her ankle. Quickly Sister Anne used the excuse she had prepared. Though some were a bit upset that she had clumsily fallen into the mirror causing them to awake, they were still glad she was okay. One of the sisters told Sister Anne to go to the infirmary to treat the cut and that the next day she would have to clean up this mess. Sister Anne agreed with what the sister suggested and made her way to the infirmary.
When Sister Anne got to the infirmary there was no one in there. For it being so late at night this was to be expected. It was a small infirmary with having only two beds, a desk and a chair but it served its purpose when needed. Sister Anne went into the cabin to get some disinfectant to clean the cut and a bandage to cover it up for the night. Removing her shoes and tights she began cleaning the cut and then putting on the bandage. With it being so late already Sister Anne decided to leave the tights off and just put her shoes on to go back to her room for some sleep.
As Sister Anne turned off the lights and closed the door, she had failed to notice three images looking at her from a small mirror on the other side of the room.
Sister Anne woke up feeling refreshed and ready for a bight new day. Getting cleaned up to start the day, she set out to pick up the mess she had made the previous night. Sweeping up the broken glass and placing it in a trash can Sister Anne was instructed by the Superior Mother to put the frame in the basement storage room until they could get it fixed. This did not bother Sister Anne because she felt as though, when she broke the glass, she had destroyed the evil within.
Going to the storage room with the mirror in hand she placed the frame on some boxes. The storage was clustered with stuff and seemingly just was many cobwebs. Just as Sister Anne was about to head back up a few things had caught her eye...
