Cute Names

After waking up to her phone-set alarm, Evelyn did her best to find the bathroom to take a shower. Once dry she got into her uniform and went to the kitchen, where Spencer was drinking a coffee.

"Good morning." She said.

"Morning."

She pecked him on the cheek, before saying "You all good?"

"Yeah. Thanks for understanding last night."

"Don't mention it. I still had a great night."

"Glad you did."

"Plus, we still have the rest of the week, cute butt." Evelyn's hand squeezes on said butt.

Spencer let out a laugh, before the two locked lips.

"Morning cute butt." Amy interjected.

"Oh, uhh, morning sweetie."

Evelyn did her best to tame her laughter as Spencer's cheeks went bright red. She then pinched his bum again as Amy said "Was this the wrong day to wake up early?"

"No we...we're good."

"How about some breakfast then?" Evelyn asked.

"Sure thing Deputy Brown."

Amy decided to remain silent, unsure if she really wanted to learn the origins of Evelyn's nickname. After reaching into the fridge, Spencer pulled out the fruit salad he'd prepared earlier, to which Evelyn said "That looks nice, wonder where you got the idea to do that?"

"I learn from the best."

"Did you cut yourself?"

"Not yet, but you're welcome to cut up the fruit next time."

"Well, you're not dating a paramedic, so maybe I should."

"I won't say no."

After breakfast, the three continue to go through their morning routine, before heading out to their vehicles. Before getting into her car, Evelyn walked up to Spencer and kissed him. "See you soon."

"You wanna stay over tonight?"

"Sure thing. How about we meet at your place?"

"Sounds fine."

"See you then, Tiger."

Spencer let out a nervous chuckle, knowing his daughter was watching, and possibly listening. Evelyn then walked of to her cruiser whilst Spencer and Amy got into his SUV.

"So you two finally run out of cute names to call each other?"

"It appears so."
