"The view isn't the greatest but it's better nothing," Edward shrugged.

"It is a beautiful view," Marlissa smiled, looking over the edge of the roof.

"Mom, do you mind if Sam and I talk in private?" Ryan asked.

"Of course, dear," Catherine nodded, taking her husband's arm to lead him away. "I will make us some tea."

"Thanks," Ryan said and walked up next to his wife. "What do you think of my parents' place?"

"It is lovely!"

"Do you want to live here?" he asked.

"This is your parents' home," Marlissa replied, turning to face her husband. "We have a home already."

"The loft is a bachelor's pad," Ryan said, looking into her emerald eyes. "It's barely big enough for the two of us, let alone if we have children."

"Would you like to have children, my love?"

"I... I..." Ryan stuttered. When he was engaged to Madelaine they had never brought up the subject of children since they were busy concentrating on their careers. "I would love to... with you. That is if we... you can have babies..."

Marlissa touched her husband's cheek, her warm smile easing his anxiety on the subject. "I would love to bear your children, my love."

"So a human could impregnate a succubus? I thought you fed on semen..."

"And sexual energies," Marlissa added. "But yes, humans and succubi can breed -- I can store the semen, instead of feeding on it, and use it to impregnate myself."

"So...," Ryan paused to find the proper words before continuing, "have you gotten pregnant from your past summoners?"

Marlissa kissed her husband to ease his mind. "No, I choose the father of my children and I have never loved any of my past mortal masters until you."

"I'm not your master, remember?" Ryan chuckled.

"I know," she giggled. "Thank you."

"So when you decide to get pregnant please give me a head's up?"

"Yes, I will, love," Marlissa giggled, "because we will be fucking non-stop!"

"How is that different from any other time we have sex?" he laughed.

"You will know..." she winked, taking his hand and led him back downstairs.
