Try to buy time

Not knowing what the woman in red is about to do or what she's capable of, you reach for your magic ring that stops time. This unexpected turn in events is way too complicated for you to process in a matter of seconds and you could use some time to consider your options.

As you activate the power of the ring, Pammy freezes in place and you heave a sigh of relief. However, as you look over at the woman in red, you notice that her hand is now out of her pocket and she's holding a circular object attached to a chain. It's a pocket watch. You're wondering if she was just checking to see what time it is, when the woman in red takes a step in your direction and you stumble back in surprise and slip on the icy surface of the frozen pool, causing you to fall on your ass. The woman keeps walking toward you until she's standing at the edge of the ice, and you can now see the lower half of her face. Her chin is sharp while her lips are full and with a deep red shade of lipstick that matches her entire outfit.

"Interesting," the woman in red says. "Those rings of yours must be oddities. Who are you? What do you seek to accomplish here?" Before you can answer, the woman recites some incantation, similar to the 1 Pammy used for the freezing spell, and you feel a cold rush over your hands. When you try to pull them off the ice, you realize that your hands are now stuck to the frozen surface, effectively nullifying your ability to use your magic rings. For the first time since coming into possession of the rings, you feel completely helpless and at the mercy of someone else.

"Answer me," the woman in red says.

"I... Let me go!" you respond, pulling at your hands to free yourself, although you don't try too hard in fear that they might break off.

The woman in red is now standing over you and she bends down to get closer to your face, allowing you to see hers in full. She's beautiful, although you can see a scar that runs diagonally down from the top right of her forehead to just below her left cheekbone. "Sleep," she says, then she whispers another incantation and taps your forehead quickly with 2 fingers, then you black out.
