Buffy talks to Willow

One day later:

"Darn it, Willow," said Buffy. "God knows I'm grateful and everything but couldn't you have timed that resurrection spell just a little better? I came this close to waking up in the middle of my own autopsy."

"I'm sorry, Buffy," said Willow. "But it was a rush job and I was getting no help at all from Giles. Under the circumstances, we're both lucky that it worked as fast as it did. By the way, how's the neck?"

"Fine, thank you," said Buffy. "Apparently Drusilla lied when she said she broke it."

"Drusilla?" asked Willow. "You spoke to Drusilla while you were dead?"

"Er -- yes. We were -- uh -- fighting," said Buffy, trying to repress a blush. "So, Willow, did you and Giles find a way to lift the curse yet?"

"Not yet, Buffy," said Willow. "But we're working on it. Giles has this theory that it's the work of a vengeance demon. They usually look like ordinary people and the only thing that stands out about them is this weird amulet that they often wear like a pendant around their necks."

"Could this weird amulet be part of a necklace, perhaps?" asked Buffy.

"Maybe," said Willow. "Why do you ask?"

"I think I have a plan," said Buffy.
