Familiar visitors

Iris never thought she'd be glad to feel her clothes dissolve into bubbles. At least this time it meant she knew for sure what she was wearing; she quickly swallowed another pill, then glanced through her current wardrobe.

Given she had absolutely no plans to go out again, she opted to forgo underwear. It wasn't like it made a difference when everything she wore kept vanishing. Pulling a top over her head, and pulling jeans up her bare legs, was at least easy. Fastening jeans when she couldn't see them was trickier, but she felt like she'd done a decent job. She didn't have to look neat if she was staying home.

At the sound of someone knocking at the door, Iris jerked back. Nervously, and blindly, she adjusted her clothes, cheeks warming. Damn it, she was never going to get used to this. The only way she could wear anything was those pills inducing the hallucination that she was still naked, how was she ever meant to face guests?

Hesitantly Iris walked to the door of her room, pushing it ajar and just nervously peering outside. So long as no one came upstairs-

"Hey, Iris?" Caitlin suddenly walked into view.

Iris shrieked, instinctively crossing her arms. Caitlin's expression shifted, beocming apologetic.

"It's ok, it's ok," Caitlin said. "You look decent to me."

"It doesn't feel it," Iris said, voice high.

"Right," Caitlin said. "Your dad called about what happened. Can we talk?"

"O-ok," Iris said, cheeks warming.

Caitlin at least wanted to help. That was more than she could say about most people that had ogled her already that day.

Iris moved back, sitting down and crossing her legs. As much as she wanted to take Caitlin's word that she had her modesty intact, it really didn't feel like it. She crossed her arms over her tits, biting her lip.

"Have you found a cure?" Iris said.

"Afraid not," Caitlin said. "There's... a lot we don't understand about meta-humans. I don't know how long it'll be before we understand enough to suppress powers."

Iris whimpered.

"We did, uh, think of something," Caitlin said. "After the call. It's not much, but it may make things a bit easier."

Caitlin reached into the bag she'd brough with her for a moment, about to pull something out. Iris shifted awkwardly.
