Her voice was reassuring, it Instantly put him at ease, but the warning about his roommate, worries him. Why should he be so worried about his best friend?

“Promise me Alex, stay away from Nate.” Rena sounded quite serious.

Alex hastily responds “alright alright, thank you Rena.”

Her voice softens once more “of course Alex, I’ll be right over.”

With a click the phone call ends and Alex finds himself alone, the silence of the room creeping in.
