Couch cuddles

The two rested together on the couch, exchanging the caressing touches and the occasional kiss. Spencer then broke the silence. "You know I've been thinking?"

"Should I be concerned?"

"Not at all." His hand then began rubbing her thigh.

"Well, let's hear it?"

"You know you keep a killer figure for a mother of two who works full time, right?"

"True."

"Well, you ever thought about being a personal trainer?"

"Maybe."

"Just thought I'd throw it out there." Spencer kissed her cheek.

"Fair enough."

"So, you wanna do anything tomorrow?"

"Yeah. You."

Evelyn laughed for a second. "Well sure, but, apart from that?"

"Do you wanna finally go on that kayaking trip?"

"Sure."

"What time would you want me to pick you up?"

"How about you come around for an 'early' lunch?"

"You wanna help me work up a hunger?"

A smile lit up Evelyn's face. "Something like that."

"So on that, would you wanna stay for dinner?"

"Uh, I better not. I've got some freelance assignments to deal with. Plus I can't have Amy eating pizza all the time. "

"You haven't taught her to cook?"

"Barely know myself."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Mr. 'I didn't do anything interesting today' doesn't have the time to learn how to cook?"

"Uhh, I guess I might be able to practice, if that would make you happy?"

"I like a man who can cook."

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow then Evie."

"See you then Spence."

The two shared a kiss before Evelyn watched Spencer get dressed. Once he was clothed, Evelyn said "Love you Spence."

"Love you too."

Once Spencer was out of the door, Evelyn went through her routine, preparing for her security job at the country club. Her mind thought of Spencer's idea of becoming a personal trainer. Although she did enjoy being a deputy, she wondered if being a personal trainer would be more flexible, and/or pay better. If anything it would mean she didn't have to spend her Saturday night standing around a country club bored out of her mind.
