The Inventor

Zane Hawthorne is an average 18-year-old young man, recently graduated from high school, dark hair, light skin, a bit nerdy, quiet. Zane wasn't the most popular in school, he kept to himself and was afraid to come out of the closet. You see, Zane is gay, his search history will tell you that.

One day Zane gets a visit from a lawyer telling him that his distant uncle Jack passed away recently and left everything to Zane. He had heard of his uncle Jack in passing, apparently, the man was a modern-day mad scientist who invented strange things that many didn't approve of or see as useful. Zane didn't know much else about his late uncle, he only met him once or twice and family holiday functions before uncle Jack became a recluse shut-in.

So, Zane decides to visit the manor he just inherited to check it out. The manor sits on top of a small hill in the small town of Hemell, fairly isolated from anything else. Zane unlocks the door with the key the lawyer gave him.

The Manor

The manor has a grand staircase by the entrance, white marble floors, and columns holding up the upstairs walkway, like something out of a Hollywood movie.

To the right is a door to the side of the house where a garden grows, some say Uncle Jack grew potion ingredients there. People were always saying Uncle Jack was a mad scientist or a wizard or something like that.

To the left, the door into the garage, and to either side of the stairs led into the kitchen and living room combined rooms.
