Text your boss and thank her.

Watching your date while she types away on her phone, you ponder the evening. The vivacious, and ever unpredictable, Ms. Kyle seems to be enjoying herself, but you have never been the greatest judge of women when it comes to things romantic. There does seem to be something on her mind, however, her strange reaction after your kiss still puzzles you. As for the kiss, you still cannot believe it happened, being so forward is not your usual habit, especially on a first date, but my, it was a kiss that you will not soon forget.

With sometime to kill you decide text your boss to thank her for such a wonderful birthday present. As you reach for your jacket pocket you notice that the female genie attendant is looking at you. You think she gives you a wink, which causes you to pause and stare to see if everything is alright with her. When the college age student in the bikini top gives you a coy smile you quickly become uncomfortable and look away. Your eyes then lock on Kyle who has finished with her phone, is walking towards you, and has clearly witnessed everything.

Turning a bit red in embarrassment you're surprised the Kyle seems strangely amused by the whole thing. “You really don't understand women well, do you, Doc?”

“Obviously not.” You admit and give up on calling your boss. “I wonder if there is a 'Tunnel Higher Cognitive Functions'? I would probably fair better there.”

“Less bikini clad college girls in that one, I would think.” Kyle seems very much to enjoy this type of play.

“That would be a good thing.” You game along. “But I have a feeling you would be comfortable in either, which is a rare thing.”

“Oh, nice try at a recover, doc.” She grins.

“Is everything okay?” You get the conversation back on track. “You seem to be distracted by something, I hope it isn't anything too serious.”

Selina shakes her head, “Sorry about that, my business trip here in Metropolis was suppose to be an easy one and it appears now to have gotten a bit more complicated. It looks like I am going to have to do things the hard way.”

“I don't know anything about the insurance appraiser business," you reply, "but I have a few connections in the city, is there any way I could help?”

“There is one thing.” Kyle asks in a professional voice. “It would be a big help with my job to see the collection of British jewelry at the Athenaeum, but I know you said it's not ready for public viewing, and I wouldn't want to be too much of a bother.”
