"I Sound Like A Fishwife !"

There were groans of disappointment from the waiting reporters and paparazzi when they saw Harry Mason arrive. The involvement of the celebrated PR guru meant that there would be no cheap and easy story and all direct access to Debbi would have to be negotiated through him. Lawrence conducted the introductions. Debbi was still dressed in just t-shirt and knickers but Harry was too professional and seasoned an operator to be disconcerted by that.

"OK, so what we need to do here is take back control of the narrative" he explained. "First things first. Let's get your name out there so that they don't keep calling you Bimbo WAG." Harry showed Debbi an update to the Sun's online page. 'Bimbo WAG rages at Sun reporters' accompanied a video clip from half an hour ago of Debbi swearing at the gathering outside, telling them to bugger off and unaware she was flashing her knickers. She blushed with embarrassment. "I sound like a fishwife" she lamented. "Quite" Harry agreed. "That's the kind of thing we need to avoid. So, your name ?"

"It's Debbi. There's no 'e'."

"Sorry ?"

"No 'e' at the end. It's just d,e,b,b,i"

"Oh, yeah, right" said Harry. "Debbi's a good name. I can't think of any easy prefix they can give it like Sexy Susie or Raunchy Rita" he continued. "Debbi does Roddy ?" Lawrence suggested, referring to the footballer. "Don't go giving them ideas" Harry warned. "We're going to have to give them a photo or two to keep them happy. Do you have anything sexy ?"

"Not really" Debbi answered but Lawrence took up the challenge. "Maybe we can select something from your boudoir shoot we did ?"

"Sounds great" said Harry. "Now what's the story with this photo on the front page ?" He waved a copy of that day's Sun with the calendar photo displaying Debbi's bare bum. Debbi explained the charity calendar. "Good, good. Tart with a heart, we can spin that angle" Harry decided. "But I'm not a tart" Debbi protested. "That's how they'll try to paint you, we need to mitigate against it" Harry cautioned. "Now, any skeletons in your closet ?"
