Erica retrieves her swimsuit from her dorm.

"Erica! Wait!" Erica heard Alicia calling after her from inside the dorm, but it was highly likely that Alicia was trying to set her up somehow, so continued on to her dorm. Her one-piece swimsuit was probably much safer than anything that Alicia or Carrie would ever provide.

It took about ten minutes to get back to her dorm. She started ruffling through the drawers of her dresser, looking for her swimsuit. Erica's roommate Julie came out of the bathroom and greeted her. "Hey Erica! I didn't expect you to be back so soon."

"Hey Julie." Erica still hadn't found her swimsuit, but stopped searching her dresser when she had an epiphany. Turning to face Julie, Erica asked, "do you have any plans today?"

"Just studying. Why?"

"I'm going swimming with some of my old high school friends. Do you want to come?" It was brilliant. If somebody who was not part of the usual group of people who loved humiliating her came to the pool with them, maybe Alicia and Carrie would be discouraged from humiliating her.

Julie considered for a moment. "You know, I missed my morning work out today. A swim could be just what I need so that I can hit the books when we get back."

"Great," Erica said, turning back to her dresser. She was pleased with the turn of events, but still couldn't find her stupid swimsuit.

"What are you looking for?" Julie asked.

"I can't find my swimsuit," Erica responded in frustration.

"It was my turn to take care of the laundry this week. I'm pretty sure your swimsuit was in the hamper."

"Damn it!" Erica said as she closed the drawer.

"No problem, though. I have a spare I can loan you." Julie retrieved her swimsuits and held one out to her.
