Awkwardly

The Uber pulled up in front of McClaren's. When he entered, he found Jessica alone, drinking a cider and wearing a pair of figure-hugging blue jeans and a pink shirt. She waved to him as he approached. The two exchange a kiss before she said "How are you Spencer?"

"Good."

Spencer ordered a beer, before Jessica asked "You seem a bit uneasy?"

"You got an eye for that?"

"Yeah I know when a man's nervous." A smile lit up Jessica's face.

Spencer sighed. "Well, it's just Amy and well... yesterday."

"Awww Spence. You're so cute. It's just a bit of teenage drama."

"I know but after, well after Kirsten..."

"She's all you have?"

Spencer took a deep breath before nodding. A chip at his normally calm demeanor.

"Hey, hey hey Spence. It's okay. It's great she's important to you. Seriously."

"I'm just... nervous about how she might take us two seeing each other."

"Well, if you need a bit of space, just say so Spence. I respect it's a big step for you."

"I don't want to push you to the side either though."

"I can survive a week Spence. God gave me two hands for a reason."

Spencer smiled. "And man made the vibrator?"

After a chuckle, Jessica said "That's true."

"So, any more school drama in your life?"

"Oh boy." Jessica chugged down some of her drink, before looking around the bar.

"Hey it's cool if you can't say it in public."

"Yeah let's just leave it at that."

"Well, uhhh..."

Jessica's finger started rubbing Spencer's chest. "You're not that good at this talking thing?"

"I'm a bit rusty."

"Lucky you're good at other things."

The two exchange a kiss, before Jessica said "Maybe we should go back to mine?"

"It's a school night Missy. Better not stay up too late."

Jessica bit her lip. "I'm willing to take the risk."

"Then what are we waiting for?"

Jessica grabbed Spencer by the hand and led him outside, and into her world. A world he was **** to explore despite the dangers. He knew that his two lives were coming closer to crashing into each other, but he knew all he could do was hold on for the ride.
