A few weeks later

After the incident with the man, Archi has been ordered by the king’s advisors to remain within the estate grounds under heavy supervision until further notice. From what you were informed, the MPs were able to break the attacker within a couple of days of interrogation. He told of an **** plot to kill Archibald. Unknown of the specific details, you were told to keep him safe within the estate. Also, another bodyguard was also assigned to him too.

The bodyguard assigned is known as: Marion Ballouhey. A 23 year old female with blonde hair and blue eyes. You’ve been told that this is her first assignment since finishing the academy. The higher ups probably figured that they won’t need to assign anyone else as well trained as you since Archi’s not allowed to leave the premises. She’s scheduled to arrive any moment now so Archi insisted on waiting outside for her.

“What do you think Armand?” You hear Archi day brining you back from your trans.

“Hmm?” You reply as you weren’t listening to a word he said.

“I think you have a hearing problem Armand” he says with a little snigger.

“This again?” You reply because he keeps making this joke about your hearing for some reason.

“Ah, this should be her now...” says Archi causing you to look up only to see a carriage pulling up slowly towards the estate.

Looking closer, you see the door opening and a woman stumbles out, nearly dropping her luggage. You cant hear anything from the window you’re looking through but you can see her say something to the guards at the door before showing her ID. They let her in straight after.

“Let say hi-“ you say looking to the side only to see that Archi’s raced off to greet her. Shaking your head, you pull your military coat off of the desk and properly put it on, leaving the first few buttons undon, before wrapping your belt around your waist and sheathing your sword in the holster before following after him.
