Lois' eyes widened at Selina's statement. The Gothamite gave the reporter a sloe-eyed look.

"I caught wind of a human trafficking operation in Gotham. Women being 'offered' to brothels, pimps. Young, healthy, clean, attractive...and completely, utterly broken." Kyle shot the reporter a venomous glance...then when she saw the honest, inquiring look on Lois' face, it softened.

"I understand," Lois said. "I'm here for the same reason."
