"WHAT THE FUCK IS IT?!!!!??!?!", Silvia looked at her matron as the curious fuzzy wuzzy poked his curious nose out of a bush.

But Pooky was glassy eyed, mute in manic terror.

"POOKY!", Silvia shouted, and slapped the matron to rouse her.

"MOOOOOONNNNNNSSSSSSSSTTTTTTEEEEEEEERRRRRRR!!!!!!", Pooky screamed as she pushed Silvia away and got to her bare feet, making a bee-line into the Black Forrest, only to come back screeching a moment later in a stunning display of lack of spatial ability.

"Silvia, Silvia! Protect me!", Pooky pleaded, jumping under Silvia's moist mound in terror.

Silvia observed the creature carefully as it nosed another, stationary creature with thin body and long head...and then it devoured it. Huge fangs crushing it to mush.

"Pooky...it's...distracted.", Silvia gave her the euphemistic version. "WE GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE. Keep your eyes closed and follow me, hold tight.

The two women rose shakily and then began to shuffle off in a slow huddle away from the first beast of the overworld they had escaped.
