No Need For Washu

Ryoko chuckled.

Ryoko, thinking: I think it's time to visit mom.

Becoming intangible, Ryoko 'slipped' through her door, over to a little down the hall and through the floor. As planned, she wound up in front of the door that led to the storage unit under the stairs. She quietly opened the door and stepped into the darkness. As usual (by Masaki house standards, anyway), an array of huge machines and computers whirred, clicked and their lights blinked and changed colors. The small girl with the big pink hair stood in front of one, typing on her 'laptop'. Ryoko approached silently, giggling to herself.

Ryoko, thinking: Heh-heh. I wonder if your security has gotten any better since that whole 'parallel universes' thing.

Washu: It has! Ya wanna see the new stuff i added!?

Ryoko: Wha?

Washu: Oh, wait. You already have! I added a li'l gizmo that lets me monitor the lab for thought patterns that aren't mine. You're my first victim, Ryoko!

Ryoko: I'm honored. thinking Hm. Guess it has improved.

Washu: You're darn right it has!

Ryoko: Hey! Stop reading my thoughts!

Washu: Mmmm...maybe. What brings you to this neck of the dimensional woods?

Ryoko: I want you to look up something called Valentine's Day on that thing you're always messin' with.

Washu: You mean my computer?

Ryoko: Yeah, i guess.

Washu: Come on! Say 'computer'!

Ryoko: No.

Washu: C'mon, its fun! Com-PUUU-terrr!

Ryoko: Look, will you just hurry it up!? Right now, Ayeka is plotting something, and i don't wanna...uh,....whatever it is she's planning, i don't wanna be....affected badly by it....

Washu: Well, since you put it so eloquently...

Ryoko: Elo-whatsit?

Washu: ...i won't make you say 'computer'.

Ryoko: Great. Now, how 'bout Valentine's Day?

Washu: Hmmmm....ONLY IF YA CALL ME MOM!!!

Ryoko: Urk! Oh, come on...

Washu: No! Either call me mom, or go ask Mihoshi about it!
