At Erica's work.

Erica sighed as she arrived at work. The stress from the night before (as well as her studies) was weighing on her and it would have been preferable if she could just skipped work. She was responsible, though. And she needed the money.

Unfortunately, having her closest "friends" repeatedly strip her, especially with the added risk of permanently losing the clothes she was wearing on occasion, meant that she needed a job.

Both her mom and her stepdad had refused to provide any more money to spend on clothing. It wasn't like Erica could actually explain what was happening! It was too embarrassing! That was why she had decided to get a job.

It was important at any job to make a good impression. That meant showing up on time and working your shifts. Even if all one wanted to do was sleep.
