John sighed. "Ok, I give up. You can do with me whatever you want." With his parents involved John felt he had no other way than to bow to Dr. Valentine's treat.

"That's a wise decision." Dr. Valentine took out her phone and made a call. "It's me. He agreed to it. You can proceed as planned."

On the tablet John saw someone phoning at the same time and a few seconds later most of the people left the room. "I hope it's worth it." John said dull, handed Dr. Valentine the tablet and lay down.

"Don't worry. Soon you'll wonder why you haven't contacted me sooner." Dr. Valentine left the room.

A little time later a nurse entered John's room and told him she was going to bring him to his surgery. She wheeled him with his bed through a hallway, before they entered a room labbled "Anesthesia room". There she put an anesthetic mask on his face and started the narcotic gas. "As a special treat you'll be put under semi anesthesia." The nurse said with a smile. "You'll see and hear everything, but you won't feel a thing. And your movement will be reduced to a minimum."
