Gathering up your guards and any Taino willing to fight, you set out into the jungles of the island. While the Caribs have a lead, they are going to be weighed down with their booty, human and otherwise. Using the locals' superior knowledge of the terrain, you comb the forests, looking for any signs of the raiders.

Its exhausting work, and you almost think of giving up, until one of the men finds a trail of trampled plants leading uninterrupted towards the beach. Rushing along, you see the Caribs just as they push off into the water of their canoes. At first, you think all is lost, but you notice the native men talking together. Once their discussion is finished, they relate through translators that, based on the Caribs' heading, there can be only one nearby island where their village must be.

While losing the chase was a disappointment, you are glad that there is a chance yet. You immediately give orders to assemble a fleet of canoes, by whatever means. You won't let them get away with this.
