You arrived a cheer practice dressed and ready to go. You knew that this week would be hectic in there becasue of the frist game. You can only think is if your uniforms had arrived yet. Coach Summers jogs in and leads us through the routine for the game this week. We ran through it pretty well, a couple mistakes here and there but overall a good run. Of course Coach Summers being the perfectionist she is thinks it was terrible and made us do it several time over again. As practice Coach Summers sat us all down to talk to us about this week.
“Alright, girls..., I mean team. This is a big week for us with our first live action. This will be the first time performing in front of people, so dont be nervous. You all have been practice your butts off and it has shown. Now I need to announce the captains for this season. All of you have been trying your hardest but one of you have set yourselfs apart from the others and I think y’all know who that is. I’d like to name Zoey Doe your cheer captain this year.” She said
Everyone clapped with excitement but you could see some of the other girls were cutting there eyes like daggers toward her. It was really cut throat. Zoey got up in front of the group.
“Thank you coach Summers its an honor to be captain for the 3rd year in a row. Now team we have a lot of work to do to prep for the game this week. We need a banner and we need to practice our routine in our game day uniforms so everything is perfect this Friday against the Cougars.” Zoey said contently
“Thank you Zoey. Now dont forget to pick up your game uniforms before you leave today. That will be all have a good day girls.... I mean team.” Coach Summers said
Coach Summers walked off and as we all started to get up and leave Zoey stopped all of us. “Oh and don’t forget the annual Cheer team slumber party this Thursday at my house, and yes it’s mandatory.”Zoey said
“Y’all have fun with that.” You say as you walk off.
“John dont worry you get to enjoy the fun too.” Candice said
“No, I’m good. Beside a guy at a girls sleepover thats a bit of a problem.” You say
“Well you live at Zoey’s so you dont have to sleep with us in her room. You have your own room and plus its required. If you dont attend you get kicked off the team.” Candice said.
“Great this threat of getting kicked off is really starting to get old, but fuck I can’t get kicked out. I’ll be there.” You say bothered by the whole situation
