New school, new you

“Mom why do we have to move so far away, what was wrong with our old town?” I said

“I’ve told you already we just have to” mom said

Sitting there in a uhaul all you can think of is how shitty your last few months have been, dad up and leaving you and mom in the middle of the night, moving to my stupid aunts house half way across the country, and I had to leave all my friends my senior year of high school .

“It’s not going to be as bad as you think, be happy your aunt Lilly will even take us in.” Mom said

“Mom aunt Lilly sucks she is always working and here daughter are complete bitches.”

Aunt Lilly had two daughters from her first husband, who left her. If you can’t tell already the women in my family can’t seem to hold on to a man. Aunt Lilly’s frist daughter is Mandy she’s 22 and is in college but she is like a living Barbie Bimbo and the other daughter is Zoey she is the same age as me (18), and she is just like her sister. At one point in life me and Zoey were like best friend. Every summer one of us would fly out and spend the whole summer at each other’s houses. Then Zoey hit puberty and became a little bimbo like her sister and never talked to me again.

“Where am I even going to sleep? it’s a 4 bedroom house and I’m sure you are most likely taking the guess room so where does that put me?” I asked

“Well aunt Lilly said you can stay in Mandy’s room till we can find other living arrangements.”she said.

“So I have to stay in barbies dream house until we can get our own place.” I said

“Yes it’s only temporary till I get established here at my new job.... oh look we are here”she said.

“Great” I say sarcastically.
