Gloss Vandamere

The thought of a cannibal repulses you. The thought of a cannibal with some sort of super weapon is even more disturbing.

You don’t remember Gloss’ picture, but he looks...wrong. He stands about six foot four. His arms are long, more like arms you’d see on a chimpanzee. His body is hairless. His skin is pale and nearly translucent. You can almost see his impressively muscular physique ripple through his skin.

He smiles at you. His mouth is too larger than any you have seen on a human head. He opens it to speak and shows rows of pointed teeth.

“So, guard, are you a wolf or a sheep?”

You tap the com-link and get nothing. You are thankful there are steel bars and an energy shield between you and Gloss. You tap the com-link again.

“That won’t work. This little baby...” He points to the glowing pulsating orb in his hand. “...blocks communications.”

He waves the orb and the bars melt like butter. The energy shield flickers and goes off. The monster that Gloss Vandamere has become stands before you.

“So tell me.” He growls. “Are you a wolf or a sheep?”
