Trouble on the way! A wild Salamander appears!

After about an hour into your travels however, your way is suddenly cut by a sudden entrance of a fiery redheaded monster with dragon-like hands, and scales scattered in few places of her body. She smirks at you while preparing her rather large sword.

You fear for a moment that it might be a dragon, one of the strongest species of monster girls, however then you remember seeing a picture of a similar monster in one of books you once read:

The monster girl before seems very similar to the picture, aside from the fact that her feet are much more human looking than those in the book, just having few little scales on the top and very sharp looking clawlike nails. Which makes you wonder if it's linked to the fact that it was proven monster girls on the island are more sensitive on, and prone to using their feet than on other continents.

"Oi! You human girl there! Let me guess... you're looking for the village hidden in those woods?" The redheaded monster girl says, her tone is one of smugness and confidence

"Yes, I am. But what's it to you?" You reply honestly, preparing to quickly grab your dagger or bow if necessary to defend yourself

"Well then, if you wanna go there, you have to beat me in combat! Hell, if you manage to beat me, I will even show you a shortcut!" The monster girl said, the fire on her tail seeming to strengthen when she was preparing to battle

"Eh?! Does that mean you are from that village? Aren't you supposed to be allied with humans against the Dominion?" You ask, hoping the salamander girl won't just pounce on you, as she seems about to...

"Nah, I have some pals there, that's all. I just run around here solo, and look for worthy opponents." Explained the salamander girl

"And they just allow you to attack travelers?!" You say in surprise, it doesn't sound like something a village allied with humans should do

"Hey, it's not like I'm killing anyone alright? Like all salamanders I'm just lookin' for a husband or wife, by kicking asses in combat until I find someone worthy. But that talk is boring... you gonna take out that bow, and toothpick of yours, or should I just push you down, and make you clean my feet, like others before you?" The salamander girl said smirking smugly, while raising one of her feet teasingly and wiggling her clawed toes, before putting it back down onto the ground

Seems like there's no way around it after all... you take out your bow, figuring that scoring the first hit with an arrow might give you some chance to win, as your dagger would probably stand no chance against salamander's sword...
