Chapter 10
by angryspaz
With your subjugation of the countryside, how shall the town of Haderslad suffer?
Haderslad shall suffer most of all!
Your expedition was more than one of conquest. It was also one of punitive **** against your enemies. You had to make Haderslad answer for its complicity. Indeed, if any one group needed to answer for King Lovka's crimes, it was the rich and powerful of this town. You would go brick by brick, dealing out punishments to the friends of King Lovka. Lovka had three bases of power: the wealthy, the nobility, and the clergy.
Among the king's courtiers – the nobility – you gave no mercy. His closest advisors would suffer greatly.
With this, how shall you handle the greatest task: the royal court?
Viking Lord
I saw, I conquered, I came
You are Baldr, first son of Harald of House Vignes - king of Jutland. You are as your ancestors were: warriors. Your grandfather conquered these lands in your family's name, lands that will one day pass to you. You will rise from prince to king to bane of all Europe. You will plunder Europe of its women and gold.
