You walk to the center of the room and sit down cross legged. As you moved she looked ready to bolt away again but as you sat down she stops. She watches you, curious what you were about to do next.

You start digging around the equipment that had been supplied to you.

"Hmmm...let's see if Grim gave me anything to eat." You open a pouch and begin to look through it. You find a small package of trail mix inside. "Ha ha ha! What's this!?"

You look up at her. She had now crawled on her hands and knees out to the edge of the outcropping she was perched on. Her eyes and mouth wide she strained and leaned to try to get a peak into the pouch you had open.

"Gloo?" She coos curiously.

You smile and shoot her a wink. "Oh, you should see what's in here. So many good things." You pull out a nut. "A nut! Do you like these?" She looks at it with wide eyed wonder. "No...too hard for you, isn't it?"

"Gloo?" You see she wants to get closer to inspect it.

You pop the nut in your mouth and chew it. This delights her! "GLEE HLEE HLEE HLEE!" She rolls onto her back and holds her belly as she wiggles and jiggles with laughter. She spins back to her hands and knees and watches you. A bright happy grin across her little pink face.

"Ohhhh...what's this!" You really ham it up, making it appear as if you had found a rare and valuable treasure in your pouch. Reaching in you slowly and dramatically produce...a raisin! "WOW!!!" You cry.

She startles as your exclamation then bursts into another round of giggling. She watches intently, not able to tear her eyes away from wrinkled little thing in your hand.

"Hmmm. The skin is too tough for you." You tear the raisin open with a thumb nail. Dipping a finger into the dense gooey interior you then bring it to your lips and suck off the sweetness. "Mmmmm!"

This fascinates her! "Gloo!?"

You press your finger into it again. The brown sticky interior blots on the tip of your index finger. You show it to her. Then slowly you lower your hand and hold it outstretched down near floor level.

She looks uncertain for a moment but then bounds down to the floor and scurries toward you. She prances and bounds, giggling all the way.

She runs right up to your finger and grabs it with both her hands. Her slime was warm to the touch. She wasn't wet, as you had expected. Opening her mouth wide she plants it over the tip of your finger and eagerly sucks the sweet raisin goo off if it as you had done. She was even warmer on the inside. You feel and see her small tongue lapping off every bit of the tacky numminess from your finger.

When done she sucks off the tip of your finger and licks her lips. "Glwoodee banoonie." She trills.

She then plops down in a cross legged position mimicking you. Her legs sort of blend together in the pose and the part that touched the floor oozed out a little.

She points at the raisin in your other hand.

"You like the huh?"

She blinks twice then smiles and smacks her lips.

You show raisin but keep it out of her reach. You then point to the gem in her forehead.

She nods, pops the ruby out of her, and tosses it to you. Her the hollow left from it quickly forms into a normal shape.

You pick it up. "That was easy! You aren't going to get into trouble?"

She doesn't understand you. She just sat there smiling with outstretched hands, awaiting the raisin.

You give it to her and pocket the gem. You watch as she slurps and noms the the delicious gooey bits of the raisin.

Well...room done. You go to stand but she hurries forward and grabs your hand. She shakes her head no.

"No? Oh...I guess I can stay a bit." You reach in and take out another raisin. You rip it open and pass it too her. She crawls up on your lap and consumes what she can of it happily. She goes to your pouch and looks in. Reaching in she pulls out a seed and offers it up to you. You take it and eat it. This makes her very happy. She offers you a nut, and you eat that.

Finally you carefully scoop her up and set her gently back onto the floor. You stand up.

"Sorry little one. I have to go. I have a dungeon to defeat."

She looks up not understanding you. Smiling and blinking her big rosy eyes.

Her smile disappears as you take a step toward one of the exits.

"Gooloooo!" She runs forward and grabs your leg.

"I have to go. I'm sorry. Here." You reach in and take out the packet of trail mix and set it on the floor. "You can rub the raisins open on the branches or something."

You take another step. She shakes her head and pleads at you. "Goolooooo!"

"I'm sorry. I don't understand." You say.

She suddenly dashes off. A moment later she returns with a reddish pebble in her hands. She offers it to you and motions you to sit down again. Her smile has a desperation to it.

"You're lonely, aren't you?"

You look around the surroundings and it suddenly clicks. This place wasn't alien...it was artificial. Like an aquarium.

You look at her. "Is this your home? Back in the real world? Are you a pet?"

She strains reach up and put the pebble in your hand. "Bagloonie doodoonie." She coos sadly. "Bwoo?"

She looked so pathetic down there. Offering you this stone for you to stay. A red one, much like the ruby. She thought you would like it. You remember the goblin in the first room told you the mist between rooms that helped refresh you also stopped the inhabitants from leaving their area. Knowing Grim's cruelty it probably wasn't a good thing the mist did to them.

You kneel down and push the stone away. "I'm sorry little one. I cannot stay."

Heartbroken she hugs the pebble to her body. Her shoulders slump and her head bows. "Bwooo."

You wrack your mind. What could you do? She couldn't leave and you had to. You stand. "I'm sorry. If I get back to the real world..." You sigh. "...I don't know. I'll ask around. See if I can find you."

She looks up at you one last time then turns and walks slowly away. Gone was the playfulness and joy from earlier.

You watch her go, wishing you could do more for her. You finally turn and walk from the room.
