Treasure! With a small (literally) problem...

"I've found a kobold warren." Attor said. "They don't seem too pleased to have dragons sharing the forest with them, but at least the sorcerer in charge was cordial, and didn't try to have me killed."

"Wait, you met him?" Viermaes asks.

"Yes... he came out of the warren, said hello, and then asked me to get off his land, using politer words. They might be convinced to aid us, but it'd take some time, a show of ****, usefulness, or trust, and a large bribe."

"The first two, I could manage if I wanted to... but where would I get a large amount of money?" Viermaes asks.

"I was just getting to that. I found a treasure chest as well, out in the woods. Unguarded, but in a small, deep hole. Too small for either of us to squeeze down, sadly."

Viermaes paused for a moment, thinking, then decided to...

(A1) go find the chest today.

(A2) leave it for the moment.

And, although she didn't know it yet, today...

(B1) the sorcerer would come to see her.

(B2) the elves would try again to kill her.

(B3) Attor would try again to seduce her.

(B4) she would find another opportunity to build a hoard.

(B5) she would meet a wandering adventurer.

(B6) nothing all that interesting would happen.
