The maids don't like her tone

"We, referring to us maids, are taking what's ours. You will be taking your butt out of here. Nancy!" The boss signaled to a larger, burly woman. "Go through this thief's stuff and then give her the boot."

Nancy smiled and scooped up Linny, who was herself a scrawny human woman with shoulder-length red hair, and dragged her away, yelling back "you better not cheat me out of my share while I'm gone!"

The remaining maids turned back to the task at hand.
