Then you go outside the city and place a large ward on the tent camp set up there. Following that you travel to another four fields around the city and place wards over there as well. You even bother to place multiple wards on one of these empty fields. In case Count Kellan sends his army to attack you, his mage might point at this field as the most heavily secured against the wards and presume it to hide a large army. Should this all happen the enemy’s army will fall into a beautiful trap. Though you hope it won’t come to that.

By the time you get back home, night has already fallen. You are tired and you just want to go to bed. By chance you walk past a window with a view on the gardens. “Tomorrow I’ll teach you the transformation spell in detail.” You say. “For now, we best sleep.”
