Another door

Since going to your right was what got you in that mess, you decide to head the opposite way, and so head down two exits, passing the metal door that returned to the medical facility. Another rocky hallway beckons, and while you're apprehensive about entering another cave tunnel, it's much lighter than the last, and both even and straight, to the point where you can see it opens up into another open cavern.

When you enter, you find yourself in a familiar location- you're in the circular cavern with the sickly green pool at the bottom, where you hid from the drider earlier. You can see the pool much better, as you've exited through a hole in the wall on the underside of the cavern, almost exactly opposite from the ramp that leads upwards towards the upper half of the room. With your close proximity, you can see the area around the pool as well, and the ground appears to turn into an opaque black glass. Much of the debris floating in the liquid appears to be a similar color, though based on texture they look like they're made out of both wood and glass, some even mixing the two.

As you walk into the cavern, you feel a wave of tenseness slide down your body, focusing in your groin. It repeats another two times before finishing just as quickly as it began, and when you're able to think clearly again you realize they were likely contractions, becoming painfully aware of the large brood of eggs inside of your womb.
