Improves it's power

Zatanna studied the spell matrix, back and forth. Experimented with it by duplicating the matrix, placing it in different objects, increasing the powers and abilities of the matrix, learning to counter and negate the spell and more. Soon she had managed to become a master of the hypnotic magic. Yet there was one last final thing she wanted to try.

'So what I have left is to see if I can merge it with a living things. It worked with the rats and other animals, now to test it on me.' she thought as she began to backward chanting which would summon the matrix, which she had enhanced, and place it within her.

"Em htiw xirtam cigam citonpyh eht ecalp!" Was the words of power, repeated over and over again until the energy of the matrix flowed within her through her eyes. Her eyes glowed a bright blue colour as she looked in the mirror, seeing their hypnotic power without being affected.

'Looks like it worked. Now for a test run...'

A few magic shows later...

Zatanna had discovered her eyes worked on her audiences during her magic shows. People went under quickly, if not instantly. She could hypnotize everyone watching her show at the same rate. She also discovered her backwards incantations had the affect of increasing the power of the hypnotic affect. She even tested it on broadcasts, both live and taped. Unlike the original gem, they worked perfectly with her modifications and boosted magic.

She had also realized she had developed a crush and desire for a certain alien farmboy from Kansas, one she was willing to bend her moral code to have. Like using her new power to place him in her hands.

Smiling as she thought, "Watch out Clark, here I come!'
